Our Forensics Work Experience Program gives high-school students in Years 10 to 12 a taste of a career in forensic science. Students will learn from AFP specialists regarding:

The Forensic Training Team run the one-week AFP Forensics Work Experience Program twice each year at our AFP Forensics facility in Majura, Canberra.
Note: We are not able to offer individual work experience placements outside of this program.

To apply for the program next year, you'll need to provide the following information during the advised application submission period:
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 23rd April, 5:00pm AEST. Late applications will not be considered.
AFP Forensics Work Experience Program Application 2025
Applicants will be notified via email as to the outcome of their application on or before Friday 9th May 2025. Applications submitted after the closing deadline will not receive a response.
