Selection process
During this process, you'll:
- do our Employment Suitability Questionnaire
- undergo a security clearance (if you don't hold one already)
- pass mandatory drug testing
- provide your fingerprints.
For some roles, we need extra things. For example, a driver's licence and fitness assessment for new AFP recruits (police officers and protective service officers).
You may already hold a security clearance from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA). If so, you might get through this check faster than others.
You'll need to pass regular drug testing as part of your ongoing job with us.
