Kosovo-born man charged with 44 alleged visa breaches in NSW
A Kosovo-born man appeared before Liverpool Local Court yesterday (15 October, 2025) charged with allegedly failing to comply with his visa-mandated curfew conditions.
The AFP charged the man, 66, after he was located in Sydney yesterday.
It will be alleged the man breached the conditions of his Commonwealth visa by failing to report as required between 1 September and 14 October 2025.
The man has been charged with 44 counts of failing to report as required, contrary to section 76B of the Migration Act 1958 (Cth).
This offence carries a maximum penalty of five years’ imprisonment and/or a $99,000 fine.
He was granted bail and is scheduled to next appear in the Downing Centre Local Court on 10 December, 2025.
