Virtual Global Taskforce

Tackling the global threat of child sexual abuse

The Virtual Global Taskforce is made up of 15 dedicated law enforcement agencies from around the world working together to fight child sexual abuse.

Child sexual abuse is a horrific crime. The widespread use of technology and the internet has seen a corresponding upward global trend in reports of online child sexual exploitation.

Law enforcement around the world will never give up the fight to keep children safe and stop those who try to exploit or abuse them. The global nature of this borderless crime means that no nation can effectively combat it alone. We work with non-government organisations and industry partners, to deliver a program of coordinated activity to help protect children online, no matter where they are in the world.

Our collaborative approach is essential as the threat of child sexual abuse becomes more severe and complex, with technology allowing offenders to operate without geographic limits.
